Pay or shift range: $37.35 CAD to $45.93 CAD Rate of Pay: At Starling Community Services all salaries are categorized under a series of "bands" determined during our job evaluation process. When determining rate of pay for external hires, a candidate’s past related experience will be taken into consideration along with where others with similar experience currently fall within the band.Note: most new team members will start between the starting salary and the mid-point of the range.

One full-time permanent Supervisor, Safe Haven Youth Services position available, starting on October 11, 2026, working 37.5 hours per week.

Your Role In this role, you will be responsible for:

Participates in and collaborates with community partners in designing, planning, implementing, and assessing the therapeutic program environment and supervises the staff member’s implementation of the program for youth.

Supports the implementation of evidence-informed treatment approaches.

Works in alignment with the Agency’s commitment to equity to further create a sense of belonging at the Agency.

Your Talents and Experience

Diploma or degree in child and youth work, social services, social work or psychology, plus a minimum of three years of experience in a social service setting, and a minimum of one-year supervisor/managerial experience.

Demonstrates commitment to inclusion, effective communication skills; the ability to delegate as well as accept direction; committed to a team-oriented approach; able to coordinate staff and program schedules to meet identified needs and targets.





Commitment to helping youth within the context of the program and to be a resource to multidisciplinary treatment teams.

A sound understanding of evidence-informed treatment approaches.

Able to build authentic and sustainable relationships with staff members, clients, and community partners.

Required to hold a valid “G” Class License and a two-million-dollar liability policy as part of personal car insurance, First Aid Certificate, CPR certificate, and C.I.T.
