As part of the UBC IT team, you will deliver software and hardware support to faculty and staff across the Vancouver area. You'll handle service requests, inventory management, and user training while maintaining a commitment to diversity and equity. Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across campus • Manage and respond to service requests through ticket systems • Facilitate user training on software and peripheral equipment • Maintain accurate inventory and service agreement records • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on desktop systems
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline • Minimum two years' experience in technical support • Comprehensive knowledge of PC and LAN systems • Experience in providing remote support is preferred • Commitment to promoting an inclusive and respectful workplace
