Primary Job Responsibilities Mobile Equipment

Operators will learn Android Oshawa's various production lines and service all aspects of Operations as required.

Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility

Operating lift truck and Tugger cart as needed

Delivering & unloading parts to the line to keep production running

Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions

Checking loads area secure

Stacking empty pallets

Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility

Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment

Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards

Minimum one-year related warehouse experience

Forklift experience: 1 year

Valid Driver's License

High School diploma or equivalent

Regularly sitting on a powered forklift, or standing on a Tugger

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Having a positive sense of balance

Having good eye-hand-foot coordination

Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights

Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season

Valuable math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills

High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a secure work workplace

Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records

Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
