Overview

We are seeking an individual for a split role between factory labourer and Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes & and off days helping in the shop with regular production. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.

This position is essential in ensuring that our products reach their destinations on schedule while maintaining high standards of service. Driving is usually into the GTA on Tue/Thur (driving pays a $2.00 per hour bonus)

Responsibilities

- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as necessary.





Qualifications

- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the trucking industry.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
- Good physical stamina for long hours on the road.
- Solid communication skills for interaction with team members and clients.
- A clean driving record is essential.
