SUMMARY

This role supports the Shop Supervisor, and involves maintaining and repairing equipment in the company's maintenance and repair shop
PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE Make field service calls to repair. Work on call rotation shifts for winter operations support. Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain passenger vehicles, heavy trucks & trailers on site and within the shop.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Experience with GM, Ford pickups & Kenworth trucks will be an asset 421A Certification Must have own tools Automotive experience preferred but not required Mobile field service experience is needed. Willing to work on equipment, trucks and small engines as required.
A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract. Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components. Safety certification inspections Comfortable using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources.
Superb communication and interpersonal skill Solid ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges Analytical mindset. Versatile and resourceful problem solver.

Proactive and self-motivated. Effective communicator, confident in engaging with all levels of the company.

WHAT WE OFFER Expected Base Salary: $52.00 per hour.

The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
