Join Our Team at McCreedy West

We’re looking for a Surface Operator 2 to join our team and support yard operations at McCreedy West Mine.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll help keep materials moving safely and efficiently across site — operating equipment, loading and unloading materials, organising the yard, and supporting the day‑to‑day needs of the operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Perform assigned tasks in yard operations.
- Load, unload,



and stage materials using approved equipment and procedures.
- Operate forklifts, loaders, and material handling equipment, if qualified and authorized.
- Support material distribution to site operations.
- Maintain organised yard storage areas and safe yard traffic flow.
- Handle and transport materials, including dangerous goods, in accordance with regulations.
- Conduct pre‑operational checks and routine equipment inspections.
- Maintain clean, organised, and hazard‑free yard areas.
- Follow all safety regulations, site procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Report hazards, discrepancies, equipment defects, and near misses promptly.
