About the Role As a member of our Operations Team, the Production Technician manufactures our complex product line in accordance with production requirements, specifications, modifications, drawings, and procedures. This position will report to the Production Supervisor.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, delivers quality work, and wants to develop production expertise in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do Read, interpret, and work precisely from detailed engineering drawings, technical documents, assembly diagrams, work instructions and controlled documentation
Assemble and test aviation products in accordance with production requirements and procedures
Perform mechanical or electronic assembly, including soldering to IPC J-STD-001 standard
Operate and maintain production equipment, hand tools, power tools, fixtures and other manufacturing equipment
Ability to identify defects, discrepancies, or non-conforming materials and escal
Support senior technicians with more complex tasks
Maintain records of time and materials used for each work order
Always ensure adherence to safety protocols
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Other duties as assigned by manager
What You Bring A minimum of two to three years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated ability to perform highly detailed, repetitive work with accuracy and consistency
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and technical documents
Mechanical aptitude and strong hands-on problem-solving ability
Strong manual dexterity and the ability to work with precision
Basic computer literacy for data entry and documentation
Good verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing setting would be an asset
