This role requires expertise in large quantity food preparation, particularly for therapeutic diets, while ensuring compliance with dietary regulations and standards. You will actively participate in planning special occasions and maintain kitchen safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver meals for residents, guests, and employees
• Review menus for meal preparation and presentation
• Conduct daily temperature audits for food storage
• Cater to therapeutic diets with menu substitutions
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
• Valid Food Handler's Certificate
• Experience in large quantity food preparation
• Knowledge of special diets and food regulations
• Physically able to handle heavy items
• Willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
