Position Summary

Russell Tobin is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for Acute Care assignments across British Columbia. This opportunity offers the chance to work in hospital settings, providing high-quality patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to acute care patients.
- Conduct patient assessments, establish care plans, and evaluate clinical outcomes.
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and prescribed treatments.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and discharge processes.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed clinical documentation.
- Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Minimum of one year of recent Acute Care nursing experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking,



and prioritization abilities.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced hospital workplace.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Position Details

- Assignment Length: 4-13 weeks (extension opportunities available) September 3rd week onwards
- Location: Multiple hospital locations across British Columbia, including Terrace, Quesnel, Prince George, Sechelt, Prince Rupert, Smithers, and other communities (On-site)
- Schedule & Shifts: Full-time hours; Day, Evening, and Night shifts based on facility requirements
