Stantec invites qualified candidates to support our 2026 archaeology field season. Your primary responsibilities will include leading field assessments and ensuring compliance with MCM standards. This role provides an opportunity to engage with Indigenous communities and showcase your expertise in archaeological methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise field assessments and mitigation efforts
• Quality control of archaeological data and fieldwork
• Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders
• Mentor Archaeology Field Technicians in their tasks
• Conduct overnight travel for various projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in archaeology
• At least one year of field experience as a supervisor
• Familiarity with MCM reporting and guidelines
• Strong skills in ArcGIS and field documentation
• Valid driver’s license and positive driving skills
