As part of the Canada Packers team, you will be deeply involved in maintaining herd health and ensuring a clean living condition for pigs at the Progilt Finishing facility. You'll perform various tasks from feeding to light repairs and management of documentation, all while adhering to safety and humane treatment policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Feed and care for swine daily
• Ensure clean and healthy environments
• Conduct pressure washing and maintenance tasks
• Handle clerical duties related to inventory and supplies
• Follow all health, safety, and SOP protocols
Requirements:
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• Ability to lift up to 25kg and engage in physical tasks
• Valid driver's license and transportation access
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities
• Previous experience in hog production is a plus
