This temporary position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about recreation and engaging with the community. Essential responsibilities include monitoring skating activities, ensuring a safe workplace, and managing access to facilities. You will also interface with participants and staff, and take action during emergencies while following divisional policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor recreational skating activities for safety
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at the rink
• Control access to skating programs and facilities
• Address incidents and emergencies promptly
• Participate in planning for special events
Requirements:
• Minimum 14 years of age
• Current Emergency First Aid certification required
• Experience with various age groups preferred
• Training in Healthy Child Development provided
• Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory
