Kwantlen Polytechnic University is seeking a Non-regular Plumbing Instructor to provide short-term courses for Apprenticeship Levels and Plumbing Foundation. This role is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to shape the next generation of pipefitters and gasfitters. Ideal candidates will possess a BC Certificate of Qualification with Red Seal Endorsement and experience in plumbing instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver Apprenticeship Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 courses
• Conduct Plumbing Foundation Level training




• Facilitate hands-on practical projects in shop environments
• Provide instruction in safety and tool management
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
Requirements:
• BC Certificate of Qualification with Red Seal Endorsement
• Current Gasfitter Class B Certificate
• Cross Connection Testing Certificate
• Field experience in plumbing practices
• Ability to conduct a demonstration lesson
