Chartwell is seeking a Cook to prepare, cook, and plate meals per our menu guidelines. This role demands attention to detail and adherence to public health regulations for secure food handling. You will also maintain hygienic kitchen practices while ensuring meals are served timely and at proper temperatures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and plate food following Chartwell’s guidelines
• Adhere to public health and safe food handling regulations
• Maintain sanitary condition of food prep areas and equipment




• Ensure timely service of meals at correct temperatures
• Assist with ordering and storing food supplies
Requirements:
• Previous cooking experience in food services
• Food Handler certification required
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and residents
• Capacity to stand for long hours and lift heavy items
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS, and TB Test where needed
