In this position, you will report to the Culinary Manager, focusing on the preparation, delivery, and service of daily meals while adhering to dietary guidelines. Your knowledge of food safety and special dietary requirements will ensure a high level of satisfaction for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
• Review menus for proper meal preparation
• Conduct fridge and freezer temperature checks
• Assist with planning special occasions and theme days
• Follow production charts and budget guidelines
Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Experience in large quantity food prep
• Knowledge of food regulations and healthy eating
• Must be able to lift and stand for long shifts
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check required
