Operate welding machines (semi-automatic, FCAW, CO2) to perform fillet or groove welds; Read and interpretwelding blueprints or instructions; Follow quality procedures, work instructions, or the company’s manufacturing standards; Perform torch cutting; Set up and adjust machines, gauges, etc., for amperage, voltage, pressure, feed rate, and the speed of rollers, rotators, or positioners; Meet the requirements for non-destructive testing or equivalent inspections; Pay close visual attention, note and report material, tool, or equipment defects to the supervisor, and protect them from damage; Gouge and clean metal parts; Operate an overhead crane; Apply the best welding techniques to ensure optimal productivity and minimal distortion of parts, while maintaining weld quality and deposition rate; Perform any other related duties.What we are looking forPossess a vocational diploma in welding (D.E.P.) or an equivalent ASP certification; Minimum of one (1)year of experience required in the fabrication of welded steel structures (an asset); Hold FCAW / SMAW /GMAW / SAW competency cards and certification from the Canadian Welding Bureau (an asset); Experience operating overhead cranes,
