Right at Home Halton is in search of passionate Personal Support Workers for immediate openings in the Niagara Region. This position calls for day and evening shift availability and includes working with clients needing special care, including those with Alzheimer's and Dementia. We pride ourselves on our personalized approach, ensuring our caregivers are well supported.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with client mobility and daily activities
• Provide compassionate support and companionship
• Use Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) methods
• Maintain high standards of client care
• Coordinate with Care Teams for continuity
Requirements:
• Certification as a Personal Support Worker or similar
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Successful Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills
• Driver's license and access to a vehicle preferred
