Collections Specialist – Paid Internship sponsored by Young Canada WorksAppleby College offers a full‑time, paid internship contract from August 10, 2026 to February 5, 2027. The internship is 35 hours per week, 8:30 a.M. to 3:30 p.M., with a pay rate of $25 per hour.The internship is sponsored by Young Canada Works and involves working with artifacts in the school’s special collections. The intern will accession, research, catalogue, photograph and enter data for approximately 500 artifacts into the AtoM database while developing a small exhibit for Fall 2027 Homecoming.ResponsibilitiesAccession, research, catalogue and photograph 500 artifacts and enter RAD/Nomenclature compliant descriptions into the AtoM database, including uploading photographs and recording physical location of all items.Create accession records for all artifacts and enter them into the AtoM database.Create item‑level descriptions for all artifacts and enter them into the AtoM database.Physically apply accession numbers, clean and properly house all artifacts.Research the provenance/history of all artifacts.Research,
