Tax Specialist, Tax Preparation Services – 2 Month ContractHow does the role impact the organization?This role is primarily responsible for the review of Personal (T1) and/or Trust (T3) tax returns of Raymond James clients. We are currently seeking seasonal Tax Specialists to provide support during periods of high volume for a duration of 1–2 months in March and April.What Will Your Role Be Responsible ForReviewing personal tax returns for Raymond James investment clients in a timely and accurate mannerReviewing information gathered from clients, CRA online portal and internal reportsReviewing electronic working paper files of all tax documentation used to support the tax return, prior to filingProviding review notes to tax return preparers and ensuring outstanding issues are resolved prior to filingCorresponding with clients or Financial Advisors/Agents to discuss outstanding informationHandling and responding to email enquiries related to tax returnsWhat do we expect from you?To qualify for this opportunity you possess:Minimum 3 years of public accounting firm experience, with at least 2 years working in Canadian taxationCanadian CPA designationExperience in reviewing Canadian Personal (T1) tax returns and Canadian Trust (T3) tax returnsProficiency with CCH TaxPrep, CRA online portal, MS Office and Adobe AcrobatAbility to work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and meticulous attention to detailDemonstrated email,
