The Department of Chemistry is looking for a Student Assistant IV to engage in tutoring activities until December. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic students currently enrolled at Brandon University, especially those majoring in Chemistry and in their third year or higher. Availability on Tuesdays and flexibility on other days is required to facilitate tutoring sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct tutorial sessions for General Chemistry II (18:160)
• Assist students with assignments and lab-related queries
• Clearly explain complex chemistry concepts




• Help improve students' problem-solving skills
• Undertake other related responsibilities as necessary
Requirements:
• Must be a current student at Brandon University
• Preference for Chemistry majors (3rd year or above)
• Robust communication skills in tutoring
• Ability to connect with diverse learning styles
• Experience as a lab assistant or tutor is a plus
