This role is heavily involved inpre‑sales engineering work, including preparing preliminary geothermal system analyses, developingconcept and mechanical room drawings, and clearly communicating technical concepts tonon‑technical stakeholders. The remaining portion of the role supportsengineering coordination and construction execution .Key Responsibilities:Preparepreliminary geothermal and HVAC system analysesto support the sales and proposal process.Developconcept‑level and mechanical room drawings using AutoCADto communicate design intent.Participate in proposal and design meetings with prospective clients and internal stakeholders, translating technical analysis into clear, practical recommendations.Maintain and updateExcel‑based technical modelsused for system sizing and analysis.Support the construction team by preparingas‑built drawings, RFIs, and construction documentation .Coordinate with external consultants and designers by attending design meetings and supporting geothermal system integration.Reviewmechanical, electrical, civil, architectural,



and structural drawingsto ensure proper system coordination.Conductsite inspections related to mechanical room and HVAC installations .Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 2 yearsof experience inHVAC system design, ideally in commercial or industrial settings.Bachelor’s degree inMechanical Engineeringor equivalent.Professional experience producing construction and mechanicaldrawings using AutoCAD .Hands‑on experience or strong familiarity with mechanical room layouts and HVAC equipment.Experience withgeothermalHVAC systems is a strong asset.Knowledge ofheat pumps and condenser water systems is an asset .Robust ability to communicate technical engineering concepts to non‑technical audiences.Proficient in Excel for technical calculations and analysis.Job Types:Full-time, PermanentWork Schedule:Monday to Friday - 8 am to 5:00 pm.Pay:$70,000 to $80,000 per year100% In-PersonIf you’re a mechanical engineer with HVAC design experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and an interest in geothermal systems, we’d love to hear from you.
