In the role of Health Care Aide at AgeCare South Terrace, you will collaborate with a skilled team to deliver personalized care to our residents. Reporting to the Staff Nurse, your responsibilities will include assisting with daily personal tasks, promoting comfort, and participating in recreational activities. Your contributions will ensure that each resident receives the care they deserve in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in bathing, washing, and dressing residents
• Support and conduct protected resident transfers




• Help with feeding and nutrition management
• Implement routine care treatments as directed
• Facilitate residents’ attendance at various activities
Requirements:
• Experience in a continuing care environment preferred
• Relevant HCA/PCA Certification completed
• Active CLHA registration required
• Proficient in English both verbally and in writing
• Post-secondary education is a bonus
