GC Construction Quality ManagerThe Construction Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the project quality management system for construction projects. This role ensures that all work complies with contract requirements, industry standards, local codes and company quality objectives, while driving continuous improvement across field operations.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management & ComplianceDevelop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP) in alignment with company standards, contract requirements, and GTAA requirementsEnsure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and client specificationsEstablish inspection and testing procedures for all phases of constructionMonitor adherence to quality standards across subcontractors and self‑perform workInspections & AuditsOversee and coordinate inspections, testing, and documentation of construction workConduct internal quality audits and jobsite reviews to identify deficienciesEnsure timely resolution of non‑conformances and corrective actionsMaintain inspection records, reports, and turnover documentationEvaluate subcontractor quality plans and ensure compliance with project requirementsConduct pre‑installation meetings to align on quality expectationsMonitor subcontractor work for compliance with specifications and drawingsMaintain all quality‑related documentation, including:Inspection and test plans (ITPs)Non‑conformance reports (NCRs)Corrective action reportsDaily quality logsPrepare quality reports for project leadership and clientsSupport project closeout by ensuring completion of punch lists and turnover packagesWork closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Safety teamsSupport coordination with client representatives, inspectors, and third‑party agenciesLead quality meetings and training sessions for project staffIdentify opportunities to improve processes, productivity,



and workmanshipPromote a culture of quality and accountability across project teamsAnalyze quality trends and implement preventive measuresCoordinate construction activities across multiple disciplines to ensure a smooth BHS installationQualificationsPreferred to have a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field7+ years of construction experience, with at least 3 years in a quality control/quality management roleExperience working with a general contractor on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projectsOSHA 30‑hour certificationISO 9001 or similar quality management system experienceStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codesExperience with QA/QC processes, inspections, and documentation systemsProficiency in construction management software (e.G., Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam)Knowledge‑Soft Skills‑AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesProblem‑solving mindset with a proactive approachAbility to work in a quick‑paced, field‑driven environmentDefine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) inclusive of:Reduction in rework and defectsTimely closure of quality issues/NCRsCompliance with inspection and testing schedulesClient satisfaction and audit resultsAccuracy and completeness of project documentationMust be able to comply with site safety requirements and PPE usageReports to: Project Construction ManagerWorks closely with: Superintendents, Engineers, Safety Manager, and SubcontractorsSalary rangeThis is a full‑time position, eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. The salary range listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position as of the time of posting. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
