MedGar Family & Walk in Clinic is a new, up-to-date medical clinic opening in Calgary, Alberta, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Medical Director to join our team.

Medical Director – Family & Walk-In Clinic
? Location: 2210 2 St SW #106, Calgary, AB T2S 3C3
? Clinic Opening: November 20, 2026
? Part-Time / Flexible Arrangement
? Compensation: Competitive and negotiable
⭐ ROLE
The Medical Director will work collaboratively with the clinic leadership team and physicians to support high-quality, safe, patient-centred medical care and help establish clinical standards and processes for the new clinic.
Responsibilities may include:
• Providing clinical leadership and guidance
• Supporting physicians and clinical staff
• Promoting quality and patient safety
• Supporting development and review of clinical policies and procedures
• Supporting appropriate clinical documentation and practice standards
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborating with clinic management on clinical operations
• Helping maintain a professional and collaborative clinical environment
• Supporting compliance with applicable Alberta healthcare and skilled standards
? QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate should:
✔ Hold a valid medical licence to practise in Alberta
✔ Be registered and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
✔ Have experience in Family Medicine / General Practice
✔ Have strong clinical and communication skills
✔ Demonstrate leadership and collaborative abilities
✔ Be committed to patient-centred care and quality improvement
