Stellar is looking for a creative Previs Artist to enhance a premium Marvel Animation series. Leverage your cinematography skills in a supportive, team-based workplace with flexible work options.
As part of Stellar’s expansion, positions are open at Junior, Mid, and Senior levels. You will bring storyboards to life in a 3D realm, focusing on camera placement and character staging. Collaborate with directors and editorial teams to ensure the intended flow and pacing of sequences are maintained through creative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transform storyboards into engaging 3D animations
• Block character movements and animate camera actions
• Execute and refine camera work after animation
• Work with the editorial team on sequence adjustments
• Collaborate with animation to address staging issues
Requirements:
• Junior: 1-2+ years in related roles
• Mid-Level: 3-5+ years; operate with independence
• Senior: 5+ years; mentor and guide teams
• Artistic proficiency in cinematographic principles
• Experienced with Maya; eligible to work in BC
