In this part-time role, you'll serve food according to individual diets, assist cooks in food preparation, and maintain hygiene standards. Responsibilities include clearing trays, stocking kitchens, and ensuring proper food storage. You’ll also engage in ongoing training and participate in facility meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals following residents' dietary preferences
• Assist in cleaning and preparing ingredients
• Transparent plates and operate the dishwasher
• Participate in food storage and labeling
• Assemble nourishment carts and stock kitchenettes
Requirements:
• Current Food Handler's Certificate
• 0-1 year of dietary experience in Long Term Care
• Capability of standing for long periods
• Basic English reading and writing skills
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy items
