Working closely with the barn Manager, you will play a vital role in day-to-day operations that include animal care and maintaining cleanliness. Ideal candidates will possess strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to following safety protocols while enjoying hands-on work with animals. Your role contributes to our commitment to excellence in animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily feeding and care for pigs
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for livestock
• Prepare rooms for animal entries through cleaning
• Undertake minor maintenance and sanitation tasks
• Maintain accurate records and inventory tracking
Requirements:
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Valid driver’s license and transportation
• Must adhere to safety protocols with PPE
• Rotate shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Preferably with hog production experience
