ABOUT THE ROLE
The facility is seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals to join the team at one of Ontario's largest long-term care homes. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing clients, developing a plan of care, implementing treatments, and evaluating outcomes, in consultation with the client and/or other health professionals, in accordance with the Standards of Practice for the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). The RN works as part of an interdisciplinary team.

WHAT YOU BRING
Education/Experience
Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses (CNO)
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Long-Term Care experience
Gerontology nursing experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES
Leadership experience preferred
Excellent physical assessment skills
Recent experience in the administration of medications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrates strong communication skills, including transparent and compassionate verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities essential for professional collaboration
Evidence of continuing professional development experience
Demonstrated regular attendance at work
Conditions of Employment
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC), where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
