Job Summary

Join our independently owned veterinary team as a Veterinarian. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care, perform diagnostics, surgeries and dentals, and deliver compassionate treatment to the patients in our small animal practice. We promote a proactive approach and dedication to ensure our clients receive exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status and identify medical issues.
Diagnose illnesses and injuries using clinical skills, laboratory tests, and imaging techniques.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each animal’s needs, including surgeries, vaccinations, and preventive care.
Communicate clearly with pet owners about diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate medical records for all patients, documenting procedures,



treatments, and outcomes.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver seamless patient care and client service.
Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine by participating in ongoing education and training, including laboratory experience when applicable.
Perform soft tissue surgeries and COHAT procedures

Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license to practice in British Columbia.
Experience is preferred.
Solid communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members.
Passion for animal health and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
