Become a vital part of the City of Victoria as a Trades Groundskeeper. This full time role focuses on turf maintenance, equipment operation, and staff direction while working outdoors. The City of Victoria is seeking two Trades Groundskeepers.

You’ll coordinate turf and grounds maintenance, assist with irrigation systems, and operate various tools and vehicles. This position requires effective organization and the ability to lead staff on projects within parks and recreational facilities. Key Responsibilities:
Manage turf and grounds maintenance and renovation projects
Operate tractors, mowers, and power tools safely
Analyze grounds maintenance needs and recommend solutions
Transport materials and equipment to work sites
Guide junior staff and maintain daily work records Requirements:
High school graduation and 2-year Turf Diploma
1 year of related trades experience
Current Class 5 B.C. Driver's Licence
Certified Irrigation Technician Level 1 and 2
Robust understanding of grounds maintenance techniques Use your skills in turf maintenance and team leadership to enhance Victoria's parks and recreational spaces.
