POSITION - SUPPORT WORKER III FULL TIME – (1 Position)

INITIAL ASSIGNMENT- FEE FOR SERVICE – DAY PROGRAM- CS NIPISSING

REQUIREMENTS
Community College Diploma in Social Services or University Degree in Social Sciences. Related experience preferred. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated commitment to CLNH Mission, Vision and Values
Demonstrated ability to facilitate and support Person Centered Planning and Daily Activity Schedules
Must be able to go swimming, hiking, horseback riding and participate in any other physical activity (i.e. Sports, Fitness)
Must be able to work with G-Tube and with wheelchairs
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with families
Experience & flexibility in different areas across the Association
Commitment in involving people to become more involved in their communities
Knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with Autism / Dual Diagnosis / Mental Health Disorders
Robust verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently as well as within a larger team energetic
Demonstrated commitment in implementing communication strategies.
Demonstrated experience through Core Competencies




Demonstrated ability and willingness to drive any of the agency vehicles
Autism Spectrum Disorder Training and /or willingness to participate in training
Must be able to follow a duty roster, calendar, ISP goals and FFS goals
This requires the successful candidate to have a valid Ontario Drivers License. The successful candidate would have to provide proof that s/he has a valid driver’s license upon being hired.

HOURS OF WORK Shifts may vary, depending on the workload schedule that meets the needs of the people we support.
