Duties
Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care
Prepare animals for procedures by restraining, cleaning, and administering medications as directed
Collect laboratory samples such as blood, urine, or tissue for testing, leveraging laboratory experience to ensure accuracy
Maintain detailed medical records, update patient files, and document treatments thoroughly
Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and post-treatment care to foster informed pet ownership




Monitor anesthesia during surgeries and assist with recovery to ensure patient safety and comfort
Keep the clinic environment clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to support productive operations

Experience
Previous experience working as a veterinary technician or in a related animal healthcare role is preferred
Laboratory experience is highly valued to support diagnostic testing and sample processing
Solid understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and common medical procedures
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and educate pet owners
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations while providing compassionate care

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
