Position Details

This is a permanent part time prospect offering ongoing casual shifts throughout the year. Scheduling is based on business needs, and weekly shifts are not guaranteed.

Training is also provided before your first shift!

Schedule
Thursday & Friday: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Salary
$21/per hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
Promote products and offer samples to shoppers in local Sobeys grocery stores
Share key product information and answer customer questions




Meet sampling targets while delivering engaging customer interactions
Prepare simple food and beverage samples (e.g., coffee, desserts)
Maintain a clean and organized sampling station (set up, maintain, and tear down)
Complete reporting after each shift

Qualifications
Must have Food Handler and Smart Serve Certificate prior to the interview
Must be fully available on weekends. Availability Thursday-Sunday is an asset.
Must be available to work in Tecumseh & Windsor. Driver is an asset
Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
Confident engaging with customers and delivering key product messaging
Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and assist with the setup and teardown of the sampling station (all materials stored on-site)
Access to a smartphone with photo capabilities and to complete reporting
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and represent brands professionally in a retail environment
