Position: Senior VMware VKS Consultant

Client: Public Sector

Location: Ottawa (In office)

Duration: Initially until April 2027

Security Clearance: Secret

Background: Kyndryl are supporting a public sector client who requires a Senior VMware Consultant who is highly skilled with VKS and VMware Private AI.

The ideal candidate will also have expertise in Microservices, Kubernetes and stakeholder management.

Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance with the federal government (MUST HAVE)
Multiple projects with VMware VKS
Expertise and experience with VMware Private AI
Microservices and Kubernetes skills
Ability to work in office in Ottawa

Expected Tasks:
Design, deploy, and optimize VMware Private AI settings in secure enterprise infrastructures.
Implement and manage VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) platforms and container orchestration solutions.
Architect and support microservices-based applications running on Kubernetes.




Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Lead technical workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and architecture reviews with stakeholders.
Provide guidance on cloud-native best practices, containerization, and platform modernization.
Support platform automation, monitoring, performance tuning, and operational excellence.
Develop technical documentation, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with security standards and government requirements within classified environments.
Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders.
