Matrix HR is partnering with an established construction company to recruit an experienced Site Superintendent with multifamily wood-frame construction experience for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Calgary, AB.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Oversee daily construction activities and site operations
Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors, and site personnel
Monitor project progress, schedules, quality, and safety
Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Coordinate trades and ensure work is properly sequenced
Identify and resolve construction issues and deficiencies
Communicate with project managers, trades, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable building codes, safety requirements, and project standards

What You Bring
Previous experience as a Site Superintendent, Site Supervisor, General Foreman,



or similar construction leadership role
Experience with multifamily wood-frame construction is required
Understanding of wood-frame construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and trade coordination
Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors on multifamily residential projects
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving forward
Valid Class 5 driver's licence is required
