Elevate your career as a Senior Planner in the Planning Services Division with the City of Cambridge. Focus on development applications, public consultations, and multidisciplinary coordination. This permanent position directly reports to the Manager of Development Planning.

As a Senior Planner, you will manage applications such as Official Plan Amendments and Site Plans, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. You will also provide skilled planning advice and support to various stakeholders, including Council and members of the public. Key Responsibilities:
Manage various planning applications and ensure thorough reviews
Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews and resolve complex issues
Facilitate public consultations and statutory notices




Prepare planning-related legal documents and recommendations
Mentor planning staff and provide technical support Requirements:
Four to six years of progressive planning experience
Expertise in Urban Design is preferred
Current membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners
Valid G driver’s license and certifications as required
Undergraduate degree in Planning or related field Utilize your planning expertise to influence development projects and public policies in Cambridge.
