Your role will involve creative solutions in handling securities and insolvency matters, providing valuable legal insights to claims teams. Key Responsibilities:
Handle complex surety claims and trade credit disputes
Provide legal representation in various court levels and mediations
Develop risk-based strategies for managing legal files
Offer legal guidance on indemnity and performance agreements
Deliver specialized training sessions for internal teams Requirements:
LL.B. or J.D. and membership with the Law Society of Ontario
More than 10 years of litigation experience
Expertise in securities law and commercial contract resolution
Robust interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset
