Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare boxes for production line: record empty weight, add liner, stamp product line, affix product labelsLoad finished product off the production line and visually inspect to ensure appearance is appropriate for the productEnsure scale is working and container is filling to proper weight, seal containers and load onto pallet. If appropriate, wrap completed pallet for shippingReport any defective materials, missing or damaged tools to the SupervisorMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly conditionEnsure critical control point compliance documenting US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) & Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) results, magnet cleaning, downtime, waste generation; Report any non-conformitiesRotate into other production areas and perform additional duties where resources may be neededCollaborate with co-workers on the plant floor throughout production cyclePick up other tasks that may be needed during downtime (maintaining clean work areas, etc.)Operate within the Blommer core values of respect and care for othersMust be able to work 12 hour shifts, 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nightsPhysical RequirementsAble to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for prolonged periods of timeAble to set up, adjust and operate machineryRegularly required to bend, stoop, and reachAble to observe and detect issuesOccasionally ascend/descend stairsOccasionally move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basisConstantly operate within a manufacturing product setting – daily exposure to noise,
