Includes interviewing, screening and analyzing loan requests for all types of commercial loans. Also responsible for approving, documenting and collecting or denying commercial loans while adhering to all bank policies, procedures and banking regulations. Responsible for all aspects of loans as well as providing deposit and cash management solutions and a broad array of lending products to meet business clients’ capital needs.
Soliciting recent profitable business relationships as well as developing and managing existing account relationships in conjunction with bank goals.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMeet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the processExplain to customers the different loan and credit products that are available, as well as the terms of those servicesObtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, corporate financial statements and other financial informationAnalyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loansStructuring, underwriting and presenting loan requests in accordance with internal policies and proceduresResponding to customer information requests or inquiries involving commercial loansReview and update credit and loan filesReview loan documents to ensure they are complete and accurate according to policy and prepare and organize loan documents for closingAdhere to credit policies, credit lines, procedures and standards in conjunction with senior managersService existing customers and enhance relationship by cross selling business and personal productsService delinquent accounts by documenting and following Bank policies for collectionMaintain orderly and complete financial reporting and documentation for all customersDevelop referral relationships to proactively solicit business and conduct sales‑related activities to meet specific loan volume origination goalsInvolvement in local community through clubs, luncheons, business organizations, etc.
