Job Summary

We are seeking a agile and compassionate Supervisor to cover a maternity leave. In this vital role, you will lead a team of dedicated educators, ensuring a nurturing, protected, and engaging environment for young children. Your leadership will foster positive development, support staff performance, and uphold the highest standards of care. Responsibilities
Oversee daily classroom activities, ensuring they are developmentally appropriate and aligned with educational goals
Supervise and support staff, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to enhance their skills
Collaborate with team members to create a warm, inclusive environment that promotes social-emotional growth
Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, Health & safety protocols, and organizational policies at all times
Assist with onboarding new staff members and facilitate ongoing training in early childhood education best practices
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns
Monitor classroom supplies and resources,



maintaining a clean and organized learning space

Qualifications
Supervisor experience is preferred
Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or related fields
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
Demonstrated caregiving skills combined with leadership capabilities
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
Ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere

Pay: $26.86 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 40.0 per week
