Scale Up is searching for a Senior GRC Consultant for a fully remote, long-term contractor role. Lead compliance, risk management, and audit readiness while engaging directly with executive stakeholders. As a Senior GRC Consultant, you will be part of a specialized and technical team within a growing U.S.-based cybersecurity startup.

This senior position involves managing client-facing engagements while overseeing compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001. You will independently handle all aspects of compliance, ensuring that programs meet high standards across various technical and regulatory landscapes. Key Responsibilities:
Lead compliance readiness for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR
Manage GRC platforms ensuring continuous compliance monitoring




Conduct risk assessments translating findings into compliance risks
Design comprehensive GRC programs, including policies and control frameworks
Perform internal audits and evaluate operational effectiveness Requirements:
5–7+ years in GRC, compliance, or security audits
Proven consulting experience managing multiple engagements
Expertise in SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks
Robust understanding of cloud security and IAM
