Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and support the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to recipes and quality standards
Perform food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation and storage areas
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety
Support cooking staff during meal service by providing prepared ingredients promptly
Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of low supplies




Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and restaurant policies

Qualifications
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills
Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Solid teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the kitchen environment
