Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays

Position: Part-time, 0.4 FTE

Nebula Academy is seeking a certified teacher to provide French instruction and learning support. We are an independent Islamic school committed to academic achievement, character development, and a supportive learning setting.

French Teaching Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging French lessons that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Adapt lessons to students’ language proficiency and learning needs.
Assess student learning and maintain records of progress.
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence in using French.

Support Teaching Responsibilities
Provide individual and small-group support in literacy, numeracy, and other learning areas as needed.




Work with classroom teachers and the principal to identify students requiring additional support.
Implement targeted learning strategies and adapt materials to meet individual needs.
Monitor and document student progress and adjust support accordingly.
Communicate regularly with classroom teachers to ensure consistent support.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Education and valid Alberta teaching certification.
Solid French proficiency and the ability to teach French confidently.
Solid classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to support students with a range of learning needs.
Availability to work Mondays and Tuesdays.
Experience teaching French and providing learning interventions is an asset.

Pay: $250.00 per day
