Description

Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Table Games or Shift Manager, Table Games, this position is responsible for providing dealing services to customers while contributing to a safe and welcoming work setting for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Excellent Canadian's learning environment while establishing a secure and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Accountabilities
Deals card games
Maintains the security of the table and its float
Controls the table in the correct order of play; closes bets at the appropriate time
Refers disputes, irregularities or suspicious activities to the Manager
Verifies chip refills and credits
Tidies workstation and pit area
Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members




Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications
High School Diploma
Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service
Dealer Certificate (training provided)
Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Other languages an asset

Since the fun never stops at Shorelines, candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights, based on business needs.

Work Environment Considerations
Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, dealing cards for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, some exposure to verbal abuse, non-traditional work hours
