Lethbridge Dairy Mart is seeking for an Office Manager for their Lethbridge location. This individual requires a mix of accounting and managerial experience and will be working directly with company Owner/General Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Transactions
Ensure the projects are managed well
Order and manage logistics for ongoing and upcoming projects
Ensure AP and AR are recorded properly
Reconcile daily transactions
keep track employee hours, billable hours etc.
Assist Owner/General Manager as required

Reporting
Assist with the preparation of company's year end
Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
Provide for a system of management cost reports
Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations

Planning
Assist in formulating the company's future goals
Prepare budget for company and compare it with actual numbers




Monitor the job costing and margins
Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction

Operations
Provide assistance in accounting/finance, Human resources, and Marketing.
Manage employees hiring and training.
Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
Implement operational best practices

Qualification and Experience:
Must have diploma in accounting or equivalent experience
Minimum 8 years of accounting experience required
Demonstrated supervisory skills
Experience with Excellent Plains system is an asset.
