Duties
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
Ensure timely delivery of orders by coordinating with front-of-house staff and kitchen team
Monitor food quality during cooking, adjusting temperatures and seasoning as needed
Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders simultaneously
Qualifications
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments as a cook or kitchen staff member
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
Prior experience with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in a kitchen setting is preferred
Knowledge of the food industry trends and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
