SUMMARY: All-round general knowledge of paint applications and preparation of product, this role will lend support to the Lead Hand. Responsible for receiving and releasing quality product in to/from the Paint Shop. Operators shall apply their knowledge of paint processes to produce finished goods, and the flexibility to assume other assigned duties in preparation for shipping.

ROLE:
Performs assembly of product as required
Identifies quality product acceptable for paint
Troubleshoots related processes and equipment
Attends to required minor repairs
Ability to work independently / with minimal supervision
Valuable interpersonal skills and a team player
Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

REQUIREMENTS:
Min. grade 12 or equivalent education
3+ years relevant work experience in powder coat applications and techniques (reading blueprints, installations, repairs, etc.) in a metal welding/fabrication workplace
Ability to work shifts
Written and oral aptitude in English
Ability to meet prescribed production standards
Capable and willing to learn

VACANCIES: 1 Day Shift (7:00am – 3:30pm)

RATE: $24.12
Subject to assessment of skills and qualifications by Active following a 60 working days probationary period
