JDI Logistics, part of the Transportation and Logistics Division of J.D. Irving, Limited, is seeking a Logistics Student based in Saint John, New Brunswick. This chance is ideal for a student who enjoys working in a dynamic workplace, solving problems, analyzing data, and supporting customer transportation needs. The hourly range for this role is between $19.89 - $22.09.
Gather and analyze market and transportation data to support business decisions




Assist with initiatives aimed at improving customer profitability and service performance
Work with internal and external stakeholders to monitor transportation rates and capacity changes
Support customer requests by tracking, updating, and communicating shipment and pricing information
Maintain accurate system and customer data
Assist with special projects and other logistics-related activities as required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
Interest in operations, logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Customer-focused mindset with a willingness to go above and beyond
Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis is considered an asset
