Become a vital part of the Prince Albert Safe Shelter for Women as a Crisis Intervention Specialist. This role focuses on providing critical support for women and children facing crises.
In this role, you will engage with clients, offering immediate crisis assistance and helping meet their daily needs. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team will ensure a safe environment for all residents, with an emphasis on professionalism and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer support and crisis intervention to women and children
• Maintain a clean and safe shelter setting
• Assist clients with safety planning and community resource access
• Document client interactions and support plans




• Respond to crises calmly and professionally
Requirements:
• One year of certification in human services or three years of related experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• First Aid and CPR certifications required
• Valid Saskatchewan Drivers Licence
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays
