GFL is seeking a skilled Journeyman Truck Mechanic in Saskatoon to maintain its leading fleet. You will ensure the optimal performance of vehicles, including Water and Hydrovac trucks. In this role, you will utilize your experience as a Journeyman Mechanic within our Fleet Maintenance division to conduct preventative maintenance and repairs.
Your responsibilities will include assessing mechanical systems, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with our maintenance team. Solid organizational skills will be essential for documenting your repair work accurately. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance on various commercial trucks
Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues
Ensure compliance with safety procedures
Document all repair activities accurately
Communicate with other team members effectively Requirements:
Journeyman certification in Heavy Equipment or Truck and Transport
Class 5 Drivers License; 1A or 3A preferred
Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities
Ability to work overtime when necessary
